The She Pearls started the Under 21 International Netball world Youth Cup with a convincing 81-22 defeat against Asian champions Malaysia.
Irene Eyaru scored 40 goals and 20 goals credit to Sharifa Nalukuma.
Uganda went on to beat hosts Botswana 46-42 on Monday evening in a do or die game that put both sides on serious panic on who gets away with a win there by registering the second consecutive victory at the championships.
This is the first time the championship hosted on African continent with 20 teams taking part and organized by the International Netball Federation.
The action kicked off on 8th June 2017 and will take face for a full week ending on 16th June 2017 hosted at The University of Botswana’s indoor venue with a total of 70-games to be played through the period
