Ugandan players under Bayern-Uganda soccer team traveled to Rwanda for the maiden Bayern-Uganda tour in East Africa where they will play series of games.
The initiative has been done to show Germany soccer giants Bayern Munich support from East African region and mainly Uganda.
A team that has players playing in Azam Uganda Premier league including; Simon Sserunkuma, Sadam Juma,Noah Ssemakula, Allan Kyambadde and many others will after Rwanda tour visit Kenya for other friendly games.
From playing football, through this team, the final destination is to create Bayern Munich fan-base in Uganda and East Africa in general where; also local fans will be in position to own Bayern Munich fans’ membership cards.
Since this is the beginning, Bayern-Uganda will run via branches / zonal arrangements and expected to have a particular location as a meeting point considering its fore-seen growth and further penetrations in more countries within the East African region.
There is also target to have a sports complex built in Uganda through Bayer-Uganda initiative in near future.
